Our mission is to empower the younger stroke survivor population by providing a place where we can meet, give a voice to our feelings, support each other and discuss the personal challenges we face on our journey towards recovery. We will do this in a caring and compassionate atmosphere while providing educational discussion groups, mentoring and modeling a "Never Quit" mentality.

About Our Founder
After suffering a debilitating stroke at the age of 34, Isabel Polania needed and received plenty of support from family, friends and professional alike. She has decided to provide a place where other stroke survivors can help each other cope with the effects common to them. YES Stroke Support Group of Miami was established to fill that need in the community. Through the generous contribution of The Inner Look Empowerment Center a home was found. We hope you join us and receive the support you deserve. You are not alone.
